Tells both sides highlights the mistakes of some and greatness of others. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this book!!!!

Larry Gwin is a great writer that is able to capture the action and the boredom he experienced in Vietnam. One of my favorite chapters is the chapter where he describes his experience at LZ Albany. I highly recommend this book!!!! Denny Wilson. He happens to be in this book! A great read following the experiences of a green second lieutenant who becomes, over time, a seasoned leader who trusted and cared for his men.
