Recently I played this on the Game Boy Player and even blown up these sprites look great. Speaking of sprites, I like how large and detailed they are. The soundtrack of the game is very fitting and it gets you all kinds of jacked up as you play. As you are probably expecting to hear, Teen Titans is a side-scrolling fighting game. You can play as any one of the Titans.
You will actually need to play as them all as they each have their own special moves and certain sections of the game require the use of a specific move. The game is a bit of a button masher and at five levels with multiple stages each the game is not exactly short.
Still, for a handheld game, it actually works very, very well. I found this to be the kind of game that is great for pick up and play. It is perfectly suited as a handheld game, but as I said I played this on the Game Boy Player and actually beat it in one sitting as I was having such a great time with it. You will be going left, right, flying, fighting and everything else you would expect the Titans to do. If I am being brutally honest with you guys you could probably knock a full point off the score, I give this if you are not a huge Teen Titans fan.
For me, this game captures the show perfectly and I feel that it is a fine game in its own right. The action is fast-paced, you can play as all the Titans and it is also good looking with a rocking soundtrack. This is one of the better superhero games on the console in my opinion.
