I tried the old Nook for PC and it is giving me the same message as the other two comments. It is very slow but still works. At one time, it wouldn't allow downloads if it had expired. So this is very new. I know my credit card is good - checked that. I had Nook Study before. I found it a bit of a pain at times, but I may try it again. Or, I may try uninstalling Nook for PC and re-installing, and see if that fixes the problem. I have Nook on Windows It sort of works, but not well. I can read my books, but The Nook for Windows app doesn't act like a Window. It fills the entire screen, and cannot be resized. So I cannot simultaneously view the Nook app and any other Windows app.
It works like a cell phone app, not a windows app. And I cannot click and drag the app from one of my PC screens to another one. This makes it almost useless to use Nook as a reference for some other document, since it's impossible to glance back and forth between Nook and any other Windows app.
